How old do I have to be seen?

Lift Every Voice counseling currently serves individuals aged 13 and up who reside in New Jersey. 

I’ve never had therapy. What’s the first session like?

​During the first session, we will thoroughly assess your symptoms and discuss the factors that led you to therapy. It may seem a bit scary to invite someone you don’t know into your world, but rest assured that we provide empathic, confidential, and nonjudgmental care. Our assessment allows us the opportunity to get a history of your presenting problems and assist you in identifying your goals for treatment. We promise that it won’t feel like a test or an interrogation, just a conversation with a caring person who's ready to help you find your inner peace!

Do you accept insurance?

I am currently in-network with Aetna, United Healthcare, Amerihealth, Cigna, Oscar, Optum, Humana, Independence Blue Cross and others. You can confirm your coverage with your insurance company or with the booking department at Grow Therapy. For more information see our Rates & Fees Page.

Is telehealth safe?

Sessions are conducted via Grow Therapy's HIPAA-compliant platform, which also provides secure messaging and communication, and an integrated EHR (electronic health record) to keep your medical records safe and secure.

How long do I have to do therapy?

There are no set time limits, everyone is different and responds to services differently as well. At Lift Every Voice, treatment is always voluntary. Although we encourage you to see it through until your therapy goals are met, you can request a discharge at any time.
